Civics MS Course

Exploros Civics MS is a complete middle school curriculum, containing 8 units with approximately ten 5E model lessons per unit. The course is intended for live classroom instruction in device-enabled middle school classrooms.

Students use social media skills to actively engage in learning broadly about government and citizenship.

The Federal Government
Introduces the three branches of the federal government, and focuses on the structure, function, and processes of the legislative and executive branches

The American Economy
Introduces key concepts of economics, including market economy, structure and function of the national economy, the interrelationships of the United States economy in the international marketplace, labor, and personal finances.

The Judicial Branch: Justice and the Law
Covers the structure, function, and processes of the judicial branch and examines landmark Supreme Court cases

Civics The United States and World Affairs

The United States and World Affairs
Covers U.S. foreign relations and foreign policy and U.S. involvement in international organizations.

State and Local Governments
Examines the Florida Constitution, the three branches of state government, the structure and function of local government, and the structure of the U.S. public education system

Geography of the United States
Covers maps, and physical and cultural geography of the United States.
